It’s that time of year. The Richmond Public Library flower boxes have been planted. For the past few years the library has been getting funds from Modern Woodman of America to help plant the flower boxes, and since most of the kids belong the the organization they got to plant the flowers.

This group is for kids 6 and under which is the age of the story hour kids. Kids did not need to belong to Modern Woodmen to help with planting. The kids and their families all got a little dirty since some of the boxed had to have dirt added first. Then the plants and them the water. Add some kids and everyone had fun.

Many thanks to MWA for helping make the outside of the library look better. The flowers make a difference.
