The library will be having their annual Rummage/ Bake sale on Saturday, September 9th from 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM

This will be located inside the Richmond Community Building. We also plan to have hot dogs, nachos and pretzel ball for sale.

June 2023 Summer Reading

Summer Reading 2023 is half over. What have we done so far this summer?

After the kick-of party we then made bracelets, younger and older kids. Then the tween and teen made DIY Nerf darts and the adults made canning ring sun catcher.

Then we celebrated National Peanut Butter cookie day by making Nutter Butter horse cookies. Up next was Father’s day crafts. Then National Crocodile day was celebrated by making and edible albino crocodile.

Next up the younger kids got Orbeez bottles to take home, the older kids make Orbeez stress balls. Then the adults planted Bonsai trees.

The last week of June saw the kid making slime, tween & teens making mini catapults and the adults trying squeegee painting.

Now onto July. Remember the Library will be Closed July 13th, 14th & 15th for the Richmond Free Fair. Summer Reading ends on July 26th for the kids and July 28th for the adults.…

Summer Reading Kick-Off 2023

Summer Reading kick-off was a blast. This year we started on a Thursday instead of our usual Wednesday, This was because Thursday, June 1st is also Dinosaur day!

We had dinosaur themed games and cotton candy, hostess snacks [thanks to the United Methodist Church for the snacks] and drinks for the kids.

The schedule for this summer’s crafts are as follows:

Wednesday at 10:00 AM, 5 & under kids

Wednesday at 2:00 PM, 6 to 11 year olds kids

Thursday at 2:00 PM, tweens & teens

Friday at 1:00 PM adults

There is a Friday that is a food craft instead of adult craft. The library will also be closed July 13, 14 and 15 for the Richmond Fair.…

Summer Reading 2023

Summer Reading 2023 is almost here!! All Together Now is the theme this year

Sign-up this year will be Thursday, June 1st, Dinosaur Day!! @ 2:00 PM

There will games out back for everyone to play, them come inside and get you summer reading bag and check out some books!

There will be snack and drinks for everyone once we are done outback.

Schedules for each age group will be on the table for you to pick up the ones you need.
