The Richmond Public Library Summer Reading program is set to start. Wednesday, June 3rd will start the program for the birth to 5th grade group. There will be a seed spitting contest and sign-up that day. The adults will also sign up on June 3rd.

The Middle & High school age kids will sign up on Thusday, June 4th . Most of the programs for this age group will be on Thursdays, with the excetion of Mondays, July 6th & 13th.

This year we have planned two movie nights. June 20th will be our “Twilight” party. We will play the Twilight game, make Twilight necklaces and watch the movie and have popcorn. July 18th we will watch a Harry Potter movie, have “Butter Beer”, make a craft and have popcorn.

June 25th Fortune Telling – middle & high school kids

June 27th -Richmond Fair Association is sponsoring a Lawn Mower

June 29th- Ottawa Music will show different instruments

July 1st- Decorating Fans

July 2nd- Decorating Snap Bracelets – middle & high school kids

July 6th- Making Visors

July 9, 10, 11 – closed for the Richmond Fair

July 11th – Richmond Fair Parade

July 13th-Sand Art Picture s- middle & high school kids

July 15th- Painting sun catchers

July 16th- Flip video commercials

July 17th & 18th- Balancing Butterflies

July 18th – Harry Potter party

July 20th -Making Window clings

July 23rd-Making Note Books- middle & high school kids

July 24th & 25th – Rockets or flyer’s

July 27th- Leather bracelets

July 30th -Painting wooden plaques -middle & high school kids

July 31st & August 1st – Decorating Dragons
