October is a fun month for the Richmond Story Hour kids. We get to make Halloween crafts. Sometimes the librarian will bring in some of her Halloween decorations. The kids get to go Trick-or-Treating down main street of Richmond. It’s just a fun time for all.
This year we made hand print spiders, tissue paper ghosts, Canning Jar Mummies, and the librarian brought a really scary decorations to story hour. The kids were not real sure about it. One ran into the other room and one hid under the table. It went home that night. This month the story hour kids also got to have some face painting [and hand painting] and the kids got to wear Vampire teeth.
On Wednesday, October 31st the story hour kids will be trick-or-treating the main street businesses.
