Library Construction
We know there are some people out there confused as to when we are open lately. The library new sidewalk and back patio has had a few delays.
All we can say it keep watching Facebook for updates. We really sorry it anyone has been inconvenienced by the work being done.
Since this is considered a small job, we are at the end of the line. We get concrete when they have it. We has a broken water line and a broken sewer line that needed fixed. It rain a lot, all these things have caused delays. We are sure it will all be worth it when its done.
Please bare with us during the construction!

Library CLOSED for a Week
Just wanted to let everyone know that the Richmond Public Library will be CLOSED October 26- 30, 2021. This is the week our employees will be in Wichita at the State Library Conference , so it was decided that it would be a good time to have the sidewalk redone.
The front sidewalk will be ripped out and and redone, we also plan on putting a small concrete pad out back under our awning.
So it was decided that we should probably just close the whole week to make sure there is time to get all of it done.
The library will open back up on Monday, November 1st.
