Summer Reading 2023 is half over. What have we done so far this summer?
After the kick-of party we then made bracelets, younger and older kids. Then the tween and teen made DIY Nerf darts and the adults made canning ring sun catcher.
Then we celebrated National Peanut Butter cookie day by making Nutter Butter horse cookies. Up next was Father’s day crafts. Then National Crocodile day was celebrated by making and edible albino crocodile.
Next up the younger kids got Orbeez bottles to take home, the older kids make Orbeez stress balls. Then the adults planted Bonsai trees.
The last week of June saw the kid making slime, tween & teens making mini catapults and the adults trying squeegee painting.
Now onto July. Remember the Library will be Closed July 13th, 14th & 15th for the Richmond Free Fair. Summer Reading ends on July 26th for the kids and July 28th for the adults.
