What did your library do for Halloween? Well ours had 3 separate events. First up was the story hour kids, they trick-of-treat the Central street businesses every year the Wednesday before Halloween.
Second we had our annual Halloween craft day. This library has tries to have a craft day for most of the major holidays. Halloween craft day was Thursday, October 19th. The kids painted ceramics, made spooky eyes, plastispooks and mummy jars.
Last came the teens, for this group we did Fortune Telling. The kids got to take turns giving each others fortunes using different fortune telling items, cards, Chinese fortune telling sticks, crystal ball. They really seem to enjoy this, some adults were even invited to join in.
