It’s December, which brings us Christmas:
So the library is planning some Christmas craft days.
Fist will be for the older kids 5th grade to 12th grade. This age group will be making Glow-in-the-dark snow globes. The plan is for the kids to make them as gifts. Give to grandma, auntie, mom, someone for Christmas.
The younger kids, 4th grade and under will be making a snowman ornament. Hopefully to also give as a Christmas gift. There will also be other crafts for them to do and keep for themselves.
There is also a plan to try and have an adult craft day, maybe making snow globes or painting ceramics. The date for this event has not be set yet, so keep and eye out for a post on facebook or poster on desk for this.
We are also still having our Friday Foods program. Every Friday at noon we get together and bring food for everyone. We give out a paper with the monthly foods to everyone, and print the weekly food and put it on the library desk. Come join us sometime!
We also have the annual Library Christmas raffle going on. Buy tickets at the library or from library board members. Winners announced at the Richmond Christmas Festival Saturday, December 10th at the Richmond Community building.
