Richmond Christmas Festival
The annual Richmond Christmas Festival is Saturday, December 11th. Weather permitting there will be caroling at 5:30, prayer by the tree at 5:45, Welcome by the city mayor at 5:50 and the tree lit by 6:00.
As soon as the tree is lit everyone is invited to the community building for a meal. This years menu is pulled pork and turkey soup, vegetable tray, crackers, chips, cake and cookies.
No matter what the weather there will be a meal at 6:00 a the building. If the weather is bad the tree will be lit and the welcome will be inside the community building.
Hope to see lots of people attend. You do not have to live in Richmond to attend. Everyone is Welcome!!…
December @ the Library
What is going on at the library this December? Well there will be two different craft days, a Christmas party and some holiday closings.
First ,there will be the annual Christmas craft day for kids on Wednesday, December 15th from 3:30 – 6:00
Second, there will be an Adult craft day on Thursday, December 16th from 1:30 – 3:30
third up, the library’s annual Christmas party. Friday, December 17th @6:30. We do not have a board meeting in December.
Last up the hours. The library will be closed Thursday, December 24th through Tuesday, January 4th. The library will open back up on Wednesday, January 5th @ 10:00 a.m.
There will be new library hours for the month of January. The library will be closed on Monday also for January. Wednesday through Saturday will stay the same.

National Game Day @ Your Library was Saturday, November 13, 2010. the library was open and extra hour on this Saturday, so that those who chose to participate would have enough time to actually play the games. The library has several board games for the patrons to use. For now they are in-library use only.
