We have purchased some new books and replaced some worn out ones.  Below you will find a list of some of the books and movies for January 2012;

One For The Money

“One For the Money” by Janet Evanovich had been made into a movie. Coming to theater’s January 27. 2012.

Many of you have be avid readers of this very funny series. Now you can watch Stephanie Plum in live action. Maybe you will love it, maybe you will hate. But you need to watch it to find out.

 

 

     

Kansas Reads…

The 2012 Kansas Reads program is about to start. January 27 through March 17 2012 is the 2012 program. This years books is Our Boys: Perfect Season on the Plains by Joe Drape.

The library will be having a kick-off party on Friday, January 27 at 1 pm. We are asking people to bring your favorite “football” appetizer and to wear some kind for football or sports clothing. Wear a shirt with you favorite team on, pro or college or even your school.

December in Richmond

It’s December and what have we done?

December 10 was the Richmond Christmas Festival. There was a parade [very small parade] and tree lighting on Central street, and then dinner at the Richmond Community building.  Winners of the house lighting  and Library Christmas raffle were announced.

           

December 19th was the annual library Christmas craft day. Kids were invited to come and make a reindeer ornament and a snowman paddle ball game. the ornaments were really cute and the kids loved the paddle ball game.

        

December 21 the story hour kids had their annual Christmas pictures and the Christmas Bear read the story to the kids.
