Gaming Day

It’s official, we love the new game we received for gaming day this year. The adults and teen all really enjoyed playing this game, and the younger kids seemed to enjoy watching it.

Labyrinth was the new game we received this year and it was a big hit. We have even thought we might need a second one, it was that much fun!

October 2012

The week of October 21st was a busy one at the library. First we had an “Open House” in honor of our Friends group on Tuesday, October 23rd  for National Friends of the Library Week.

     

Next up there were Zombies at the library on October 24th. Yes Zombies. Mystei David of Williamsburg came with her son made our kids into Zombies  and Vampires, some just had war wounds. the kids really seemed to enjoy this and are already saying we need Mysteri to come back next year.

       

Thursday, October 25th the director and a board member went to Emporia to attend KDRS [Kansas Debt Relief Services] workshop.

Friday, October 26that 1:00 Adults came to the library to decorate gourds for Halloween. Then at 3:00 the younger kids came to the library for Halloween craft day.

       

Saturday, October 27th is the Ruritans annual Trunk-or-Treat.…
