After school. 2 different crafts, one for younger kids 4th grade and down, one for older kids, 5th -12th grade…
Coming up in April
The library will be having it’s annual “Open House’ in Honor of National Library Week on Tuesday, April 16th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Come in, have a look around, enjoy some refreshments [on us], get a library card if you don’t already have one.
The library will be having it’s bi-annual Garage Sale on Friday, April 26th from 3:00 to 8:00 and Saturday, April 27th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Friends will be holding a Bake Sale during the garage sale times.
Friday, April 26th there will be a “Taco Dinner” from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
All of these events will be held at the Richmond Community Building located at 205 E. Central Street.
Proceeds will go to help the library.
If you have items you wish to donate to the sale please contact the library to make arrangements. 836-6163
Don’t forget the City is having a Pet Vaccination Day on Thursday, April 25th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

March 2013 Crafts
Spring break 2o13 held four craft days at the library. We made bracelets, Easter Egg Bird Feeders, Wax paper Art [with the teens]and decorated bunnies and butterflies.
We didn’t want to leave the adults out of the loop so we make Easter Treat Boxes twice, once at the library and once with the seniors at the nutrition site.
Next moth we have the library “Open House” and the library Garage Sale…
