Game Day @ Our Library
Game Day @Your Library was Saturday, November 15th and Richmond Public Library participated. The library which is not usually open on Saturdays opened it’s door just for this occasion. Any one could come in and play games, we had Pictureka, Twister and Guitar Hero. The people that came sure seemed to enjoy this. The library has decided that they may do a game day again[maybe over Christmas break].…
Trick-or-Treat
On Wednesday, October 29th we had the annual Story Hour Trick-or-Treat.
The kids trick-of-treat the businesses on Central Street of Richmond.
Not sure who enjoys it more the kids or the businesses. Everyone has a good time.…

NEKLS Fall Assembly
Three from the Richmond Public Library attended the NEKLS [Northeast Kansas Library System] Fall Assembly on Thursday, October 16th.
The assembly is held every October for libraries in the NEKLS system. This years assembly was held at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka Kansas. Keynote speaker was Michael Hoeflich, distinguished professor at the University of Kansas School of Law. The ever popular State Library Road Show presented an “abridged” version of their popular show. There was also a breakout session where libraries of similar size got together to talk about how things are going.…
