Richmond’s two librarians attended the State Library Conference in Wichita this month. They left on Tuesday, April 8th and returned Friday, April 11th. They attended many meeting during there time in Wichita. They also visited the Goddard Public Library in Goddard, which is a suburb of Wichita.

Wednesday, April 16th was the monthly library board meeting. Connie the library director told the board of all the things she learned at the State Conference and made suggestions for changes in some of the library policy. The board discussed the suggested changes and other agenda items. Three items were tabled until next months meeting. The library board is having a garage sale on May 10th in Ottawa during their City Wide yard sale days. Next board meeting will be May 21st.
