Richmond Public Library

Spring break 2o13 held four craft days at the library. We made bracelets, Easter Egg Bird Feeders, Wax paper Art [with the teens]and decorated bunnies and butterflies.

     

We didn’t want to leave the adults out of the loop so we make Easter Treat Boxes twice, once at the library and once with the seniors at the nutrition site.

  

Next moth we have the library “Open House” and the library Garage Sale…

Wondering what book will be make into a movie this year? Here are a few that a coming up or already out. The library does own these books, so come on by and check out the book, before you watch the movie or after your choice.

The library has planned several activities for the Central Heights spring break this year. First up will be Scratch N’ Sniff bracelets on Monday, March 18th @ 3:00, there may be a snack included with this craft we have not yet decided.

Wednesday,March 20th we will be making Easter Egg bird feeders. The birds need to eat too so lets feed them. Come make a bird feeder at 3:00

Thursday, March 21st will be for the Teens, they will be making wax paper art at 4:00. If you have sharpies bring them since we need them for this art project.

Friday, March 22nd will be an Easter craft, we have foam bunnies and Eggs to decorate. Come by and make one at 3:00

The adults will be having and Easter craft day also, theirs will be Monday, March 25th at 1:00

Annual chocolate day in honor of Valentine’s Day was on Valentines Day this year. The kids [of all ages] really enjoy this annual event. The adults were here at 2:00 and the kids were here at 4:00 [younger kids and teens].  They made chocolate suckers, decorated cake pops, dipped marshmallows and pretzels, I think some may have left in a chocolate coma, and I don’t mean just the kids.  I think its safe to say, everyone enjoyed chocolate day!
