The Richmond library is a recipient of the “Picturing America†grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
As part of the grant the library is suppose to show the pictures to as many people as possible from September 2008 through May 2009.
We started with an open house, with pictures displayed all around the library.
The “Open House†was on Tuesday, October 14th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments were served.
There are plans to display the photos on a rotating schedule with the library, Richmond Care Center, and Richmond Nutrition Site. If your group, church or school is interested in also displaying the photos, please call the library and talk to Connie. 835-6163
