The Tree
The Tree

Many thanks to the Rosey family for Caroling for us before the tree lighting. Thanks also to Father Jerry and Reverend Jerry Harnden for saying prayers at the tree and before dinner. Thanks goes out the Rick Weber, Nick Weber and Jacob Akes for putting up the tree and getting it decorated. Thanks to Charles Weber whose property provides the tree. Thanks to Mayor Mary Ann Platt for saying the Welcome. Thanks to the Richmond Ruitans for judging the house lighting in town. Winner of the house lighting this year were Bud Feuerborn – 1st place, Jerry Robertson -2nd place, and Mason Jones -3rd place.

The change in the menu from Chili to Spaghetti was well received. Santa reading to the kids with only the Christmas lights on was also new this year and went over with the crowd. We would like to thank Dan Roll for being Santa and Mercedes Goodman for being Santa’s helper elf.

Last but not least many thanks to all those on the Christmas Festival committee who make the festival happen. Could not be done without them!

Everyone that attended seemed to enjoy themselves. We hope to see everyone back next year!
