In Kansas we will be able to see most of the eclipse.

The plan is to meet at the library around 12:30 PM, Bring your own lawn chair and some kind of “Eclipse” themed snack. The library will have some Eclipse glasses available to use during the viewing.

Library Giving Day started as an idea generated by the Seattle Public Library Foundation. The Richmond Public Library has received a gift of 100 new children’s books.These books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund , a private foundation in New York City. We are now in the process of cataloging all our new children’s books. Thanks to the Brownstone Book Fund!

The Brownstone Book Fund is interested in fostering early reading, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together.
